Leadership


Chief Executive Officer

Diane Brugger, MHA, FACHE

Diane Brugger serves as Chief Executive Officer of Antelope Memorial Hospital. She provides strategic leadership and oversees all facets of the hospital's operations, including clinical services, financial performance, patient care and long-term planning. With a steadfast commitment to excellence, Diane ensures that AMH delivers high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining financial sustainability and operational efficiency.
Since joining AMH in March 2019, Diane has led the organization with vision and integrity, fostering collaboration among department leaders, the board of trustees, and executive staff to advance the hospital's mission and community impact.

Diane holds a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and brings over 30 years of experience in healthcare leadership. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), an ex-officio member of the Bryan Heartland Healthcare Alliance, and an active member of the Nebraska Hospital Association.


Chief Financial Officer

Martha Nelson

Martha is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the hospital, including managing budgets, financial planning and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. She collaborates with the CEO and other executive leaders to develop financial strategies, assess funding streams and improve operational efficiency while maintaining low costs.
Martha joined Antelope Memorial Hospital in October 2000. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance and over 30 years of experience in critical access hospitals. Martha also has an associate degree in health information management and holds the RHIT credential. She is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the American Health Information Management Association.


Human Resources

Julie Brookhouser

Julie manages all aspects of AMH’s human resources, ensuring compliance with regulations, developing HR strategies and fostering a positive work environment. She oversees recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management and compensation.
Julie joined Antelope Memorial Hospital in July 2024. She has an Associate of Applied Science degree and over 20 years of experience in human resources, management and insurance.


Utilization Review Nurse/Compliance/Quality and HIPAA Manager

Savannah Henn, RN, BSN, CPHQ

Utilization Review: Savannah ensures that AMH’s patients receive appropriate and necessary healthcare services, managing costs and coordinating care in line with guidelines and regulations. She frequently collaborates with insurance companies.
Compliance Management: Savannah ensures Antelope Memorial Hospital adheres to laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. She oversees compliance efforts, identifies potential risks, and develops procedures to mitigate them. Her role involves working closely with internal auditors, legal teams, and other departments to maintain a robust compliance framework.

Quality Management: Savannah leads the quality department, devising and establishing the hospital’s quality procedures, standards, and specifications. She develops, implements, and oversees quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest quality patient care, optimal patient flow, and continuity of care.

HIPAA Management: Savannah is responsible for protecting patient privacy, safeguarding health information, and building trust within the patient-provider relationship.

Savannah joined Antelope Memorial Hospital in August 2018. She is a Registered Nurse (RN) and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) and over 14 years of nursing experience. She is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ). Savannah is a member of the American Nurses Association, Nebraska Nurses Association, Agrisafe Nursing, Nebraska Healthcare Quality Risk Safety (NAHQRS), and the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).


Clinical Chief Clinical Operations

Tanya Sharp, MHA

Tanya Sharp is the Chief Clinical Operations Officer. She oversees five AMH Family Practice Clinics and leads all aspects of its clinical operations, focusing on quality, efficiency and patient care. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes, ensure regulatory compliance and enhance the overall clinical experience.
Tanya joined AMH Family Practice Clinics in September 2023. She has a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University in Healthcare Administration. She has over 15 years of health care management experience. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and an active board member with the Nebraska Rural Health Association and National Rural Health Association.
