Board of Trustees



John Mlnarik - President

John J. Mlnarik is a livestock feed dealer. He and his wife, Barbara, reside in Clearwater. She is a housewife. They have five children, Ted, Dave, Dan, Josh and Lindsey, and 22 grandchildren. His hobbies include fishing, hunting and being able to name his grandkids. He served in the National Guard for six years. His community service memberships include - past: Clearwater's Town Board, Chamber of Commerce, Fire Department, EMS and the St. Theresa Catholic Church Board and present: AMH Board of Trustees (current president).

James Blackburn - Vice-President

James (Jim) Blackburn and his wife, Patricia (Pat), are both retired and reside in rural Neligh. Pat is a volunteer. Jim has two children, Jennifer Nielsen and Krista Schindler, three stepchildren, Tammy Rakow, Scott Taylor and Traci Jacobsen, three grandchildren, one deceased granddaughter and 14 stepgrandchildren. Jim's hobbies include reading, flying, hunting and motorcycles. His military service includes: enlisted in the Navy (April 1966), commissioned (May 1969), graduated from flight school (February 1971), served four years active duty as Personnel Officer and flew helicopters for search and rescue missions and honorable discharge (November 1973). His community service memberships include - past: Chamber of Commerce (45 years), American Legion Post 172 (40 years), Neligh Fire Department (15 years) while acting as Neligh Fire Chief (5 years), Neligh-Oakdale Education Foundation and Neligh Economic Development and present - AMH Board of Trustees.

Chris W. Twibell

Chris W. Twibell is the president of Brunswick State Bank. He and his wife, Laurie, reside in Brunswick. She is a substitute teacher. They have two children, Sarah (Hrbek) and Jacob, and one grandchild on the way. Chris's hobbies include golf, riding his Harley, shooting sports and all things "football". His community service memberships include the AMH Board of Trustees, Village of Brunswick Board, Plainview Country Club Board, Teammate Member and former chairman and current member of the Nebraska Independent Community Bankers Board.

Dave Sullivan

Dave Sullivan and his wife, Joyce, are both retired and reside in Elgin. They have three children, Amy, Christopher and Julie, and eight grandchildren. Dave's favorite hobby is golf. His military service was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. His community service memberships include - past: ESU 8 Board, Kiwanis, Chamber of Commerce, VFW and American Legion and present: Trinity Lutheran Church and AMH Board of Trustees.

Jon M. Schilling

Jon M. Schilling is the owner of Jonny Dodge. He and his wife, Kay, and family reside in Neligh. She is a bookkeeper. They have two sons, Derek and Drew. Jon's hobbies include golf, fishing and gardening. His community service memberships include - past: Neligh Fire department (35 years) and Neligh Young Men's Club (20 years) and present: Antelope Country Club Board and AMH Board of Trustees

Russell M. Vetick, OD

Dr. Russell Vetick, optometrist, offers services at Eye Physicians, PC in Neligh. He and his wife, Joanie, reside in Neligh. She is a optometric tech. Russ's interests include archery, hunting (turkey and deer), ice skating and travel. His community service memberships include - past: Elgin Pope John School Board and St. Francis Catholic Church Parish Council and present: AMH Board of Trustees and Knights of Columbus.

Samantha A. Stoltz

Samantha A. Stoltz is a loan officer at the Bank of Elgin. She and her husband, John, and their children, Sage and Jack, reside in rural Elgin. John raises show cattle. Her interests include spending time with her family, sewing, fitness and going to cattle shows. Her community service memberships include - past: Evening with Friends Committee (six years) and present: AMH Board of Trustees, Antelope County Healthcare Foundation and treasurer of St. Boniface Altar Society.

Tom Zwingman

Tom Zwingman is the manager of Carhart Lumber in Tilden. He and his wife, Michelle (Schmit), and family reside in Tilden. She is a case manager for Region 4 Rehavioral Health System in Norfolk. They have two children, Madelyn and Emmett. Tom enjoys hanging out with family and friends, mowing, pheasant hunting and traveling. His community service memberships include - past: Tilden Fire Department and Ambulance Squad, Tilden-Meadow Grove Community Foundation and present: Tilden City Council, Tilden Young Men's Club and the AMH Board of Trustees.

Jim Meuret

Jim Meuret is an ag business owner and manager. He and his wife, Laurie, reside in Brunswick. She works in Human Resources Administration. They have five children, Matthew, Kelsey (Panizzolo), Sarah (Sankey), Riley and Sam, and two grandchildren. Jim's hobbies include traveling to both new and familiar places with Laurie, golfing with his sons and going to sporting events. His community service memberships include - past: Nebraska LEAD Program, Elkhorn Valley Economic Development Committee Board and St. Ignatius Parish Council and present - Brunswick Village Board Chairman and AMH Board of Trustees.

Gordon Shrader

Gordon Shrader is a retired farmer. He and his wife, Ralynn, reside in Ewing. She is a retired photographer. They have two children, Shirette and Anthony, and three grandchildren. Gordon's hobbies include farming, travel, side-by-side in AZ desert, motorcycle riding and travel golf. His community service memberships include church officer, school board (29 years), golf course board, Lion's Club, past-president of Farm Bureau and AMH Board of Trustees (present)

Maurice Soper

Maurice Soper is a farmer/rancher. He and his wife, Cindie, reside in Neligh. She is a registered nurse at AMH. They have one son, Nate, and two daughters, Darcy (Girres) and Kristen (Straight). They have seven grandchildren. Maurice's hobbies include spending time with family, flying, precision farming and boating. His community service includes: past - Neligh-Oakdale Jaws of Life and Neligh Volunteer Fire Department; present: Antelope County Airport Authority Board and AMH Board of Trustees.
